Simply Great campaign launch party

Simply great drinks launch their new campaign i was one of the lucky people to attend the launch.
on the morning of the 17th june 2014 i headed to the me hotel in strand london.

I was invited by the company simply great as they was launching a new campaign.

And introducing victoria pendleton 

On arrival i greeted by a photographer and the company and was told to help my self to a drink and yes you guessed i had a coffee, after that i socialized for a bit and had some mocktails

and some canopies which tasted delicious and then i had some more mocktails.
I also took some photos of the view as it was amazing the hotel overlooks london,
i will post a few photos so you all can see the view from the rooftop bar in the hotel.

Anyway back to the mocktails ....

for those of you who may not know what mocktails are they are ( non alcoholic cocktails)

The mocktails was made from the simply great drinks which i reviewed previously when i said they wasn't to my taste.. anyway my views have changed as the mocktails tasted great.

And now i am wanting to drink simply great alot as i really love the flavours
i am wanting to get back to being healthy and fit so will be drinking more simply great
there is no sugar in these which is amazing for keeping you healthy as we all know

too much sugar is bad for you and your teeth and can cause many problems later in life.

the sweetness of these drinks is all natural there is no artificial sugars in simply great.
with it being natural sweetness this means its more healthier for you.

The founder of simply great drinks Adam Pritchard  made a speech welcoming us.

Adam pritchard then introduced us to dr christian jessen known for embarrassing bodies.

dr jessen then gave a speech about diets and how they can be bad for us.

from skipping meals to celeb diets and how they can be more harmful.

Dr christian jessen also mentioned you don't need to give up chocolate cake

As a lover of chocolate cake himself he says you can still eat it and be healthy.

its all about a balance diet so a little bit of chocolate cake wont harm.

dr christian jessen also stands by simply great drinks as they are really healthy,

as simply great drinks only contain natural sugars and contain fruit.

Dr christian then introduced us to the panel.

Once the speeches was over we then socialised some more.

And got to meet the panel and ask them their advice and tips.

i found out alot from healthy meals and nutrition to fitness tips about how posture can help with fitness.

And the psychology behind why people fail on celeb diets.

Overall it was a fantastic launch campaign i had lots of fun 

i learnt so much from all the experts.And will always remember the advice given 

i will be using the advice to help myself and my family stay healthy

Essie nail polish (lilacism)

Hey girls and guys 

I am back with a review on essie nail polish,

 this one is more for the ladies but men are welcome to have a read as well.

and if you're a bloke who does wear nail polish big thumbs up and welcome. 

I hope you are all well ..

So far i have about 5 essie nail polishes and tons of other brands ect, 

But thought id review my fave one first which is Essie nail polish lilacism.

which is a very nice colour it reminds me of springtime, flowers,parties bbqs.

With the fashion trends that are out there at the moment with denims and the bold colours neons ect this colour nail polish makes me feel trendy.

colour/ texture

A glamourous lilac that is sure to look good with denim, and other fashion trends.

the colour is very simple but effective.

I really like how my nails look a bit reflective close up and the texture of the polish when its dry is very smooth to touch which is a great texture as most other nail polishes don't have that.

Drying time

I like how quick they dried which was about 5 mins which was impressive as i could get to my chromebook to write this review for all you lovelies. 

(but that will depend on how much you put on as if ur putting it on thick it may take longer to dry)

With the polish drying quickly is really good especially if you're redoing your nails whilst out and about or even if your off out with friends in a bit quick two coats wait around 5 mins, 

Then you're ready to go

The price wont break the bank you can buy this essie nail polish for around £7.99
but you maybe able to find it cheaper online if you look around.
I love a great bargain too i just love bargains and deals. 

..overall verdict .. 

Over all i am very pleased with this nail polish its my fave one of all my essies 

and is the only nail polish i have been using for a while now. 

i love the colour texture and love the design on the polish bottle as well.

the price is another reason why i love Essie around £7.99 in superdrugs.
but you can get them cheaper at some places online. 

The only down side would be like most nail polishes is chipping which i am afraid will happen

efficiently especially if you're not careful with your hands like when you are hunting through your handbag for your phone and come across bobby pins and keys and all the other things we have in our handbags i am the worst for having random things in my bag including a usb computer mouse but having said about chipping its easy to apply the polish and it drys quick

so you can easily sort out your nails if that was to happen.

EGG TIMER

Egg timer perfect eggs

hey girls and guys heres a quick review for you all hope you like it.

Ever tried boiling a egg in water aiming to get a soft to medium egg and end up with a hard boiled?

Aimed for a hard boiled egg crack it open and your heart sinks as you realize that you egg is runny?

you're not alone many people have made this mistake!!!

Well now all your troubles can fade away.

 with this special egg timer you pop it in the water with you eggs

the egg will indicate if your eggs are soft medium or hard making your cooking stress free and will help if your cooking eggs for the whole family.

we know we all like our eggs different 

so for example if your cooking 3 eggs for 3 people

1 soft 1 medium and 1 hard.

well now you can do this with the egg perfect timer

(great for dinner party's as your guests will get their perfect eggs)

You can pick these up at all good retailers ranging from £1 upwards depending on where you buy it from.

easy and simple to use.

Overall verdict 

I give this eggcellent  product a 10/10 all round. (excuse the pun)

I brought mine up in poundland yes you guess it for a £1.

I am pretty sure you can find them on amazon and ebay as well. 

At that price you cant go wrong and it will save you money because you won't be throwing out eggs that haven't come out how you expected.

*please take extra care when removing it from the saucepan as it does get hot*

Tenpin Bowling

                       

                                          
Hey guys and girls a different review for you all hope you like it.
first of all i know a fair few of you have been bowling before, but also there maybe a few who haven't been bowling before or who haven't been to Tenpin.
if you have been to Tenpin before feel free to comment below your experiences.  

It was our daughter chloe's 5th birthday on sat 10th of may so decided to take her bowling at our local tenpin in bexleyheath.
Even though i was ill and full of cold nothing was gonna spoil my little girls birthday, i apologize for there not been pictures of me but i have got some of my boyfriend and daughter.

we pre-booked our bowling online at tenpin to make things easier and to book a time and day that suited us, with it being chloes birthday we wanted to make sure we had a lane on that day to avoid disappointment. 
They do get busy at tenpin so its always good to prebook to make sure you get a lane at the time you require you can book online book here.
Anyway on arrival we were warmly welcomed by the lady on the desk she was very friendly,she said we could go to our lane sooner if we wished as there was a lane ready to use,we collected our bowling shoes and headed to the lane we started our game of bowling.

Not long after the manager popped over to wish chloe a happy birthday and gave her, her very own bowling pin to keep and a marker pen.and asked us if we would like some juice for little one she popped back with a jug of juice a balloon and a party bag and then some candy floss. 

we continued playing our 2 games of bowling it was a very enjoyable afternoon a lovely atmosphere with there been music playing and loads of other people having fun as well i like how big the lanes are meaning bigger groups can also go bowling.

there is also a arcade and a bar at tenpin meaning there is something for everyone.

"After our game we decided to try out the food so ordered a share platter and a drink

i must say the service we had was spot on and the food was good we all enjoyed it"

i have put a video below of my little girl when we was at bowling.

Upbeat protein drink

I was in tescos recently and found these protein drinks on special offer for £1 which is good seeing as they are normally about £1.79 per 250ml so brought 2 of the strawberry n two of the mango.
now i have the drinks i can review for you all i hope you like the review please let me know if you have tried upbeat before or if your gonna buy always love your feedback hearing your views.
anyway enough of me rambling here's my review.

Upbeat strawberry flavour 

great in flavour taste abit like strawberry yogurt it has a much better taste then most other protein drinks on the market.it has high protein and low fat. a delicious healthy drink which works best with a balanced diet.it has a good source of calcium aswell and we all know calcium helps keep your bones strong.

I really like the flavour not to bland and not to sweet its just right i would recommend this drink too those who have a balanced diet and for those who aint getting enough protein. 
< also they are suitable for vegetarians > < 145 calories per 250ml bottle >
i will definitely be buying more of these they are tasty healthy and very handy to grab and enjoy.

                                   Upbeat mango & passion flavour  

i wasnt to keen on this flavour as it seems a bit to bitter for me but it does have more flavour and is much more tastier then other protein drinks on the market then the strawberry one.
but the strawberry one was more to my liking as it tasted better in my opinion.

149 calories per bottle for mango n passion flavour. as stated above its a healthy drink with a great source of calcium low in fat and high in protein.

"What i have to say about the product and my views on the drink i tasted"

"well i poured myself and my boyfriend a glass as we fancied something sweet and healthy to drink.

and straight away noticed it was quite nice in flavour but very unusual probably because we are not used to drinking pomegranate"

"It was sweet but the sharp bitter taste overpowered it a bit for me,

even my bf thought the same for once we agreed on something.

But i guess everyone has different tastes and our tastes buds

react differently depending on the foods we like.

So im not gonna so oh it was delicious and i am not gonna say it was dreadful, because it was nice but just like i mention above it was a bit sharp/bitter for my liking, in other words not my cup of tea"
