Valentines Day Wishlist 2015 (toxicfox)

Valentines day wishlist

Hi girls and guys I know we are only in january but valentines is not far away, so I thought I would do a post on wish list ideas for everyone.

If your single do not fear valentines day does not only have to be for couples its for everyone.
Why not treat your self to a gift after all you deserve something special too, or you could even buy a gift for a friend or family member to show them how much you love them or even better if you have kids why not treat your kids to a little something.

You could even buy your neighbour a gift to say thank you for been a good neighbour.
The website sells so many lovely things so maybe theres a birthday coming up too or a friend is getting married? there are so many gifts to choose from for all occasions.

So I am going to write a wishlist but it is more of an gift idea list as well so here goes there is something for everyone.

For Coffee lovers

I probably need rehab seeing as this is first on my list As some of you know my addiction with coffee I choose these two gifts because as a coffee lover myself these two stood out the most when i searched for coffee.

These gifts below are perfect for coffee drinkers and coffee addicts as a novelty gift that perfectly suits me I would use this at home and even away from home but i am a little crazy.

There are more coffee gifts on the toxic fox website feel free to have a look.

Special gifts

For those who like the finer things in life not only are these extra special gifts they are a good price perfect for those on a budget who want something nice to buy themselves or for someone special.

As you can see above these are great value for lovely gifts that are a little bit extra special.

For adventure lovers (experience days)

For those who like to live a little and have some fun,and those who want to relax and unwind with a day out at a spa, whatever you may like there is something for everyone.
These are my top picks.

These was my favorites although there is more to choose from on the website.
What will you next adventure be?

Gifts For the adults (over 18s only please )

Like to experiment like to be naughty these gifts are perfect for you.
From the spine tingling to the toe curling these gifts will be sure to spice up your life.
single or in a relationship these are naughty but very fun gifts.

Please visit  toxic fox website for these.
Please note over 18s only due to nature of the gifts.

Please do not click if you are under 18 or are offended by adult material/gifts.

Thats the few items that stood out to me, I Think this is a nice mixture of gift ideas, to help you choose the perfect gift for your loved one, please note there is a more on the toxic fox website.

Little bit of a ramble

As some of you may know from my christmas wishlist article I do not like this whole thing of gift for boys gifts for girls as I do belive gifts should be for all and not aimed at one gender.
So for me the whole gifts for her, and gifts for him thing is more of a guild then a rule.
If you want to buy a bottle of whisky for a woman why not if she likes whisky go for it.
And if you want to buy a man a pink mug why not I sound like a total freak right now but i do have a point when I say live a little lets stop making up these rules.

But saying that above I do feel sometimes having it categorised does help for those of you who disagree with what i believe or those of you who are looking for something in particular if you are in a rush by knowing where to find it.

Anyway I Hope this has helped you with some ideas for valentine's day.
Toxicfox do sell many other items so please do have a look what else they have to offer.

Thats all for now thank you for reading.

Veil cover cream sample kit

Hi Again girls and guys today i will be reviewing veil cover cream sample kit.
For those of you who might not have heard about the company veil and about their products,
let me explain A bit more so you know a little A bit about the company before I review.

About cover cream ( taken from the veil website )
Our Veil Cover Cream was an early leader in the field of Cosmetic Camouflage and was first formulated in 1952 by our founder Mr. Thomas Blake. He was a forward thinking and inspired cosmetic chemist who was asked by a pioneering plastic surgeon to formulate a cover cream that would hide post-operative scars.
His creation was an immediate success in the new field of remedial camouflage and has continued now for over 60 years. Our cover cream has helped many people with different types of skin blemish to look and feel good.

At Veil we still follow the original and unique manufacturing process using pure and simple raw materials which makes our cover cream effective and easy to use.
The range of shades has been expanded since those early days so that we can now offer a wide range of natural shades to suit all skin tones.
Our cover cream is widely recommended in hospital dermatology and skin clinics as well as leading beauty salons and we hope that as you browse the pages of our website you will find the right products for you.

So now you know abit more about them and who they are as a company lets get this show on the road with the review.

Before picture

As you can see my skin tone is uneven and is not flawless which can be an issue for me if I am going on a night out with friends or having my photo taken at an event etc.

Even though i dont always wear makeup as i do let my skin breath on school run and during the day at home i thought it could be nice to test this as we all have those events or special times we want to look our best.

After picture

you can see a big difference it has disguised my dark circles quite a bit.
Also the brown freckling on face was covered nicely.

only trouble i has is the product going cakey on my skin not sure if i applied too much or if my skin is too dry. but can definitely tell it does work well, i think i need to get used to using it.

So whats my verdict on veil coverage sample kit.

I liked the idea of this product and the fact its good for covering scars, unwanted blemishes, tattoos etc.
It made a difference to my dark circles under my eyes although i need a little more practice to get used to the product and technique so I can get a even better coverage.

The thing i found is it felt a bit to dry on my skin as it went cakey I am not sure why it felt this way maybe the lack of moisture in my skin, so i would say this is not really suitable for anyone with dry skin unless your dry skin is under control first.

Also felt as if it was a tad too hard to take of fully after scrubbing my face a few times i still had some product on so this might be a good thing for those who work for long hours and like the coverage to last longer.
Overall I do like this product but I am in no rush to go out and buy it yet until I get used to the sample kit and perfect the technique needed to get the perfect coverage.

Because my skin is pretty uneven i have loads of dark patches and other tones in skin partly due to a skin condition and some of darker tones also come from where i have indian relatives etc so my skin is unusual tone like I look pale next to people who like suntanning, but dark next to someone who doesn't like to tan at all.

Questions and answers.

What did i like about veil cover sample kit?
I really liked the different shades inside the kit.

What i did not like about veil cover?
It felt a bit heavy on face and went cakey.

Would you buy this product?
I would but only when i get used to using the sample kit, And my skin is better as i have dry skin feels cakey.

To find out more about veil coverage please feel free to check their website.

Veil are also on Twitter and Facebook.

OZ NATURALS FACIAL TONER

Oz naturals  facial toner review

Hey Guys and Girls I was approached by Oz naturals to review 3 products for them,
They loved how honest my reviews are and wanted someone like me to test the product then share with you my lovely readers so i ordered the 3 products to show you.
I was gonna review all 3 products on one post but thought will review the oz naturals serums on a separate
post so its easier to read without the post being to long and confusing.

So first one I am going to review for you is The Oz natural facial toner £13.05
I am normal a bit skeptical on beauty products with all the claims and the price tag to go with it.
If you are anything like me you like to read reviews and ask friends first if they have tried it and if it works and if its worth the price and every other question running through the mind.
With all these questions in mind i hope my review can somehow help you in some way.
please note all views are my own as always unless stated.

Here is my verdict on the facial Toner.

I Applied the product to my face it felt Cool and refreshing and i could feel it tingling slightly which felt relaxing not sure if other people have experienced the tingle bit but felt relaxing.
After been on the skin a few hours i could defo feel my skin felt tighter but did not feel uncomfy at all.
The toner is a spray which sprays on face evenly and the feel of the toner is like water, it feels nice and light on the face and dries nicely you can even wear makeup over the top of the toner which is brilliant considering, most toners on the market are a thick cream type that can feel rather heavy and yuck and not to mention the amount of cotton pads you go through with the cream toners that can be rather oily.

Oz naturals isn't oily meaning you can smile and feel great and not get those horrid breakouts like oily products can cause.

I didn't like the smell of it as it was not fragranced with something it smelt of something natrealish though a smell kind of hard to describe i am fussy when it comes to smells after all i do like to smell nice.
I am loving the product so far just not keen on the smell but its something i can live with I am guessing its where the product is ment to be natural or something I am not sure.

pros and cons of oz naturals toner.

Pros

Leaves skin feeling nice and soft
Leaves skin feeling fresh
Skin feels firmer
Light on the skin
easy to use
contains vitamin c
100% natural
quick drying

Cons
Smell

Overall verdict

Score 8/10

A very nice product that is not only easy to apply it feels great on the skin too.
With  me being 24 and looking 15 I have not got many wrinkles, but i could really feel a difference in my skin it feels a lot firmer and smoother.

I love the fact it sprays on and is not a lotion like other toners that feel to heavy on the face,So it was nice and light on the face only concern for me with it being a spray is scared of it going in eyes , But i guess you have to be careful and not get to excited when seeing how great the spray toner is.

The thing I didn't like was the smell i would of liked it better if it was fragranced with something nice, its like a mild smell I am finding it hard to describe.
Not sure if its me just been fussy on that one but i do love a nice smelling product.

The product is a nice size not to bad for the price either £13.05 which some people may think is expensive to be honest you are getting as great quality as some other products that you will pay a lot more for so in a way this price is cheap compared to other brands.
I am fussy with most products and this as to be the best toner i have tried, and ive tried many toners and found them to heavy with being a lotion.
with oz naturals you are getting a spray toner meaning it should in fact last longer which means no unwanted lotion on your hands not knowing what to do with it.

The bottles instructions

spray tonic over entire face, neck and decollete after cleansing and exfoliating skin.
follow with serums and lastly moisturizer. Not only should this tonic be used as a primer for serums but can also be used throughout the day over makeup. its also great for an all over toning spray. please shake well before use.

 Questions you may have?

Q:Is this the best toner you have tried?
A:Yes buy far the best one easy to use and light on the skin.

Q:How much is oz naturals toner to buy?
A:£13.05 on amazon.

Q:Where did you buy the toner from?
A:I brought mine from oz naturals on there amazon page link below.

sennheiser urbanites headphones

Sennheiser Urbanites

Hey guys and girls today I am gonna review my urbanite headphones made by sennheiser.
I won these on instagram for a photo of my ear .. yes my ear you heard that right. (no pun intended)
Anyway here goes hope you enjoy reading my review on my urbanite headphones hopefully those of you looking to buy a new set of headphones this will help you in some way.

Looks..
They say looks dont matter which is true its what inside that counts, but these are rather good looking, they would definitely be something id be proud to wear on the bus, or on a train.
many years ago i would only like earphones purely because bulky headphones was rather a no good for fashion. But these urbanites are a different story they may be bulky but they are bulky beautiful.
(they also fold up meaning you can pop them into your handbag, or backpack after use)

Performance
Lets just say the best I have ever had, the sound quality is by far the best.
I also love the fact it blocks out background noise few times i have been in a busy room which was noisy, I then popped on my headphones and enjoyed music but i will add i did have the volume up at a higher level as I do find it hard to hear music clear anyway epessily when people on bus make loads of noise.
( I love the detachable cable meaning if you should need to replace the cable its not gonna cost you alot to replace unlike other headphones)

Price
between £150 - £199 prices may vary store to store.
Not really ideal for those on a tight budget because some people wouldn't wanna spend over £100 for headphones, But if you have a bigger budget these are pretty decent, for the price.

Fitting
I just love how snug they fit on my head the feel great and secure unlike other headphones that like to fall off the head when your trying to tie your laces, or pick up your bus pass that you have just dropped.
They feel amazing on and the cushioned earpieces feel lush on the ears as well.
(Only trouble i have after long periods of time my ears feel abit sore so would suggest having breaks if your ears are feeling abit sore)

Overall verdict

The Sennheiser urbanites are a fantastic pair of headphones from the packaging to the headset.
The headset fits perfectly and feels snug, The sound quality is by far the best i have ever heard.
The detachable headset cable means  cheaper to replace should you ever accidently break the cable which is unlikely because they are a well made pair of foldable headphones.

The price is abit high not really the price id normally pay for headphones, but i won these.
after hearing the sound quality and feeling how well they fit i would in future buy these again for presents for others.

I would recommend these to others but would advise you to ask your nearest store if you can test a pair most stores that have them on display let you test them which is handy because we all have likes and dislikes about things we wish to buy.

Downside to them the volume control on the headset only works with ipad or iphone but it does say on box they are for iphone or ipad, but obvs you can control the sound from your phone etc.
was just a little disappointment but I guess i can not complain as i won them but thought I would let you know about the volume thing incase you dont own a ipad or iphone.

PROS

  • Great sound quality
  • Background noise isolation
  • Nice fitting
  • Detachable replaceable cable
  • Stylish
  • Foldable
Cons
  • volume dont work on other devices
  • headphones can make ears sore if used long periods of time
I hope you have enjoyed reading my review on my urbanite headphones.

Smoke free

Hey
guys and girls again as some of you may know I have gave up smoking a few months ago.
This time i have finally done it as last time i failed, so october 2014 i gave up smoking to try be more healthier I am not gonna lie it was hard, but i worked around it.

So you may be thinking why am i posting this?
I am posting this to help n support others going through the same thing.

How did i do it?

well first of all we smoked the rest of the tobacco we had so when it had run out that was the day to go smoke free, after the tobacco had run out we hid all the lighters, matches n ashtrays , we did not throw these away but you may do so. i only kept my lighters because I love candles, and the ash tray will be used outside by guests who smoke.

I was doing fine but because hubby was giving up smoking to he was finding it hard like last time.
So he went to the shop and came back with some ecigs this time liquid ones as some of you know i tried a ecig before, but this time the liquid ones worked better and are better value for money as the liquids last longer.

( to be honest i didn't even use it much i did to begin with but now I only have few puffs on the Ecig  every so many weeks if I am having a bad day)

What else did you do to help you?

well we used to buy tobacco weekly which was costing us around 15 a week, so for each week on the calendar i wrote £15 , then at the bottom of calender added up how much would be saved if i didn't smoke that month, i did this for every month left on the calendar.

This can work well you can keep the money in your normal bank or even put it in a savings account to see how much you have saved not smoking, maybe even use it for next christmas or save for a family holiday.
You could even use the money to help a charity if you are wanting to do something good im sure the extra money will come in handy some how.

what else did you do when you had cravings?

cleaned you know me i love cleaning so went to kitchen and cleaned the work tops even if i cleaned them ten times a day it was a good distraction.
Another thing i did was ate toast i was keeping my hands and mouth busy although with this i put on a few pounds in weight i didn't mind as i needed to gain weight anyway.

if your worried about gaining weight dont worry, just think the money you save from smoking could even pay for a gym membership, or healthy food exercise equipment you get the picture.

Below I am gonna post some other ideas for you things you could do to pass the time if you have cravings or are bored because you are not smoking..

every time you crave cigarettes or are bored

  • knitting
  • go for a walk the fresh air will help
  • baking cakes or bread
  • cleaning and housework
  • use mouthwash to rinse out mouth
  • phone a loved one or friend
  • exercise
  • spend ten mins playing snap or drawing with your children
There are many things you can do to pass the time or satisfy needs you can try these or other things to find what works best for you.

Benefits of giving up smoking?

  • More money- do spend on yourself and family
  • Better health- breathing better
  • Smell better- house and clothes dont smell of stale smoke
  • more time- time to clean or phone loved ones etc
  • whiter teeth- brighter smile
  • better nails- no more nicotine stains

So how do i feel now i have given up smoking?

I feel amazing to start with it was abit crap to be fair but after time i could breath better now i can walk up flights of stairs in my flat without having to stop n struggle to breath.
I feel better in myself i dont feel run down all the time I have energy and more time to do things.

I feel proud of myself and hubby because he found it hard last time and this time and we both finally quit he used his E-cig more then me but now he dont really use it so the liquid ecigs are definitely alot better.

remember if you have a ecig never leave it on charge overnight or whilst you are out, be careful where you plug it in always follow the guidelines and most of all do not attempt to make your own ecig liquid.

There are many E-cigs you can buy all different prices i will post some below from amazon to help you if your looking to buy.

i hope i have helped you in some way please tell your friends to come read if they need support or advice.

happy new year good luck if you are trying to quit.

I am Not a big fan of marmalade but my hubby is and he said he will be taking this one to his mums to eat over christmas, I am guessing he is gonna put it on his toast on christmas morning.

Overall view this month.

At first i was a little disappointed that there wasnt any christmas items in the box but come to think of it i dont mind so much because the mixers will go down well at christmas. plus whatever happens i will still have chocolates etc at christmas anyway so not having christmas items in the box wasnt really a big deal.

I really loved getting the kent kitchen kit again i adore the flavours in the meal kit and love how well the curry comes out just add chicken and you are enjoying a nice curry ar a low cost even though you have to do the washing up you will not be spending alot.

I wasnt to keen on the non alcoholic wine as I am not keen on wine anyway  but I am sure a few of you will like it because i know alot of you will be drinking at christmas or off to christmas parties or maybe even giving up drinking in the new year.

Debenhams christmas wishlist 2014

Debenhams christmas wishlist 2014

We all know christmas is just around the corner, so i thought hey why not blog about a kids christmas wish list I am a big kid at heart but ain't we all.
We know recently one of the bestseller has been disney frozen which has sold more than any other disney ever.

As some of you may know i have a little girl who is 5,her wish list consisted off mainly disney frozen items which isn't surprising i am 23 and must admit i kinda do like the film as to be one of the best recent disney films there is, even do i do love some of the good old classics like snow white and cinderella.

Anyway I have decided insted of doing my daughters christmas wishlist i thought id mix it up a little and do something wacky, as a big kid my self i thought id do a wishlist for toys i would ask santa for if i was still a child.
I have to admit i am bit of a big kid and still love lego and other things even my daughter gets me to play with her my little pony's and teddies etc.

IF I WAS STILL A CHILD I WOULD ASK SANTA FOR.......

Hello kitty
 CD player boom box £35

Teksta
Kitty   £60

Hellokitty
 Kids safe headphones  £15

Tatty teddy
Make a bear   £18

Melissa and doug
 friendship stamping set  £9

Snazaroo
Unisex facepainting kit £10

Transformers
Bumble bee rc car £40

Lego
Lego city police crook pursuit £5

So there you have it my wishlist if i was still a child, I am sure most other girls would love this wish list even boys i am a true believer in toys are for all sex's as as a child i used to play with my brothers toy cars, and he used to play with my barbie dolls.

Let your kids be kids n play with whatever toys they like my daughter loves fireman sam doesn't mean she is a tomboy just means she likes different things and is exploring as children do.

So go ahead a this year let your child play with something different why not let your little boy push around a buggy with a fireman sam teddy in , or let him play with a barbie doll or let your daughter play with wrestling figures in my eyes all toys are unisex we need to stop being silly and just live a little.

Sorry for the little rant there!

I would d love to know what toys you would want for christmas if you was still a child.
What toys was your favorite when you was little?
Did you play with toys that other people used to label as girls or boys toys?
Would you let your child play with a toy that is aimed at the opposite sex?

I would love to know your views on this and even if you dont agree with my views id still love to hear your views.

Catch you soon
