Skin Academy Zero

Hello guys and girls I am back, a long story short I am now a single mum and working for a gym. I Have been very busy with life and my health and work, but today i bring you a new post. I hope you are all doing well and enjoy reading my new post, feel free to comment and ask any questions you may have, I try to respond to as many people as I can.

Skin Academy Launch

So the lovely people at Skin Academy invited me to their launch party on the 19th of September, me being me a social butterfly despite having anxiety went along.they was launching their new product Zero! which is 100% vegan.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the director of skin academy Anthony wagman and his son. I was also greeted by some very beautiful ladies who work for skin academy and was handed my journalist pass. the lovely ladies were so helpful with talking about the products and answering any questions I had.

I had a walk around and also grabbed a glass of bubbly whilst checking out the products which were on display. i also got talking to a few guests who were also had the launch who work for some well known websites and magazines and we also got to share a freshly made vegan pizza, the pizza was very tasty and you wouldn't of guessed it was vegan.

We also got to hear about skin academy and their wonderful products during the evening, where antony wagman and his family who also work along side him at skin academy explained to us about the products and their wonderful company who care about our planet.

Liquiproof Review

Hey girls and guys, I am back with another review bit later than expected as I am still unwell with bag head pains which have had everyday for 3 weeks but due a mri scan on saturday.

Anyway hope you enjoy reading this review and enjoy finding out about this product.

I was sent a full size sample of liquiproof by the company in exchange for a honest review.

About The Product

Liquiproof is a product designed for many materials, you spray it on rub it in, leave it for ten mins reapply, then leave for 24 hours, liquiproof can turn shoes bags and many other things waterproof meaning no more fearing of going into the rain in your favorite shoes.

Like you, our founder, Caner Veli, was tired of having his shoes ruined by weather and accidental spills. He looked for something that could help but didn't have much luck. He wanted something that actually worked, was affordable, easy to apply and lasted longer than two weeks. He knew of other hydrophobic sprays on the market but these contained harmful substances and left a visible white residue on the surface.

Nothing lived up to his requirements – so he set out to fill the gap in the market for a reliable footwear protector himself. After a long period of research and development, Liquiproof was born in 2011. Caner continued to develop the product and in Jan 2014 launched the brand to the world. Within a short amount of time the product received much praise and quickly became recognised as the leading protector on the market.

First impressions

I was abit skeptical at first There was no way in my mind that I thought this product would work due to knowing my shoes are not waterproof at all and there was no way in my mind that a product could change this about my shoes.

Time To test

So Ii couldn't sleep and it was about 1am I was about to go up to bed so before I did i sprayed the liquiproof on a small section of my shoes and rubbed in, i did not reply it as it says on the bottle as you ment to re-apply it 10 minutes after then leave it for 24 hours, anyway I went to bed and the next day about 11pm not even been on 24 hours my hubby decided to put water on my canvas shoes to see if it had worked.

Results

Wow hubby calls me into kitchen to show me how it had worked, baring in mind i did not reapply it and did not leave it for the full 24 hours, my mind was totally blown away, how could this be possible, the water was just not sinking into the shoe, I am so pleased with the results I am tempted to use it on many more things including my heart umbrella and my handbag and many more things around the home which Id love to be waterproof.

Overall verdict

Overall I am very impressed with liquid proof not only did it work 100% more than I expected I didn't even leave it on for the whole 24 hours which was double impressive. I am super impressed with how easy it is to apply and how it doesn't have any harsh smells.I love the fact it comes in a nice bottle which means no need to make up a mixture everything you need is in that bottle, the only thing it does not come with a brush/cloth to rub the product in but looking on the website they do sell liquid proof with a handy brush for those who would like to have a brush with their bottle of liquid proof especially for using liquiproof.

Just had a crazy thought it is a shame they can't make a hair spray that makes our hair water proof for the day everyone's dream maybe one day, liquiproof if you're reading you know it would sell well if you could make one for our hair pretty please hehe.

Love Umbrellas

Hey guys and girls, hope you're all ok, so i am back with another review.

So winter is upon us and that mean rain, wind, and even snow.

brrr makes me cold thinking about it anyway love umbrellas have been lovely and sent me a umbrella to review, yeah i know your thinking its an umbrella there's not much to talk about.

which is true to some extent however let me tell you about love umbrellas and the umbrella i have been sent to show you.

First of all Love umbrellas is a company that sell yes you guessed it….. umbrellas.

They sell many umbrellas from wedding umbrellas to kids umbrellas, even funky designs like rainbow coloured, and pretty ones with bows, and the one I have which is a heart shape brolly you didn't see that one coming or did you if you?

Anyway the Heart shape brolly sent to me by love umbrellas arrived well packaged.

inside the outer packing was really cute packaging, once removed i had noticed the brolly was slightly bent from where myhermes couriers hadn't handled the parcel properly,

however it's all ok now hubby fixed it, i love the shape size and weight of the brolly.

Anyway I took it for a test run walking up the road to greggs which is a 3 minute walk.

the umbrella did indeed keep me 100% dry although the wind was strong out so found it hand to hold felt like I was about to become mary poppins and fly over the shops.

Not sure what else to say as of yet other then I really love my umbrella and I even love the look of many more umbrellas which love umbrella sell on their website.

The wedding ones look really cool and stylish also but even the heart shape one would make a great prop in a wedding photo with it being a heart don't you think?

So what do I think of my umbrella?

Packaging

My Umbrella was indeed very well packaged although the couriers didn't seem to handle the package that well as there was a slight bend/dent in my brolly which hubby fixed.

really loved the inner packaging and the little note from love umbrellas which was cute.

Design

Well what can I say it is a heart and who doesn't like hearts.

I really love the design and think it is nice to have a design which is unique and not generic.

after all it is good to have your own style and be unique.

around 88cm in length.

Price

For £19.95 some may think this is expensive when other shops sell much cheaper brollys.

But when it comes to having an umbrella style doesn't matter if you just want to keep dry,

but if you want to keep dry and look stylish love umbrellas is amazing.

also because if many people go for normal brollys and yours is a heart you always know which brolly is yours meaning no1 can accidentally go home with your brolly.

Overall Verdict

I really love my umbrella sent to me by love umbrellas although do think some people wouldn't wanna pay so much for an umbrella, me on the other hand think because it is a large umbrella and is a unique design think it is worth the price sold at.

The design is unique and great comes in many colours white to black to red,

meaning you have a choice in style and colour and if wanted you can have sparkles added for a small extra cost which is also great if you love sparkles.

my only downside is the way the parcel was handled by myhermes.

because of the small bend in the brolly which was disappointing.

but since hubby as fixed it I am happy and can't complain about much else other then not sure if its where it was slightly bent or because it is new it is a bit stiff to open.

although hubby can open it better than I can so many where the brolly is very sturdy it takes a little extra strength to open.

Professional Beauty 2015

Professional beauty event excel london 2015

HI guys and girls Today i wanted to share with you my experience this is a kind of a personal post as well as it been a post to inform you what happens at the event etc what I experienced.

February 23rd 2015 I attended professional beauty excel london which was my first time.

First of all i had tickets in the post which was visitor tickets and behind them was my neighbours tickets which I popped down to hers for her as they was meant to arrive in her letterbox and ended up in my pack in my letter box which was brilliant because i suffer panic moments travelling through london etc and i only knew her from the school run it gave us a chance to get to know each other and travel up together.

Anyway because I do my blog here I upgraded my Tickets to the press tickets.

which are basically the same as visitors tickets apart from been able to sit in the press office to make notes etc like things at the event and so on not much difference really to any other ticket.

Anyway the journey up wasn't to bad I travelled up with my neighbour who showed me the way,

after getting one bus, one train, one tube and one dlr we was finally at the event, she had to meet her colleagues so I went on in to explore….

First impressions…

Oh my its so big where do i start there is so many stalls to look at so many brands so many products every shopaholic's dream, I was not so much there to shop though more to get some knowledge what other brands are out there, what upcoming products are there are.

If i had more time i would of probley ended up with no money in my account because there was so many lovely things to buy Also was tempted with a spray tan which was free when you spend ten pounds also included in that was a free bikini although I did not have time to strip off and get a tan.

Maybe next time if I will be able to fit in a lovely spray tan.

I managed to talk to a few brands and have a look what's on the market and what's to come from moisturisers to body scrubs, lashes,make-up teeth whitening tanning and much much more.

Press Office

I was so overwhelmed by it all i went for a tea break at the press office

I put my feet up and my bags down and enjoyed my sweet cup of tea,

whilst jotting down notes and replying to emails on my phone.

In the press office its literary right in between the stalls

so you can still sit in there whilst jotting notes.

which is nice in the sense of seeing everyone happy and shopping.

It is for sure a really nice vibe it was a nice experience for me.

Then continued to have a wander around the event and came across a photographer See Li.

Who was very welcoming and friendly and took a couple of photos of me you can see those photos here if you would like as well as other photos he took at the event.

See Li is a friendly photographer who made time for me and was very welcoming.

it was a great pleasure to meet him and see his great work his photography is fab and i love his photography he is a very bright talented man.

After speaking to see li i had a wander again omg this place is so big i aint even joking even i kept getting lost and couldn't find my way back to press area so just kept on walking around to explore and look at all the great beauty products then i come across a very busy part.

I then saw Amy child's on her stall I tried to get a quick 2 Min chat with Her to see if there was any upcoming products i could talk to you about etc but she was busy, she was only be able to talk to people who was buying her products there.

so i am afraid i am not sure if she has any upcoming products or not for some of you who was asking who knew I was going to the event I am ever so sorry I couldn't find out.

I try keep my eyes peeled and if i do see a new upcoming one of amys
those that asked me I will email you if i come across any upcoming products.

Anyway I continued walking and came across loads more including some very bright,

funky coloured sunbeds which caught my eye I adore these they remind me of nightclubs,

with the bright beautiful colours that stand out a mile, seeing these made me smile.

I haven't used a sunbed before but I like the look of these compared to the normal ones.

Anyway Having to leave some bits out of this post as its already longer than it should be.
keeping in the bits that really had an impact on my day things i really liked etc.

Not to be missed !!

Oh my so excited to share with you one in particular thing I almost fainted when i saw what it could do if i told you and didn't have pics to prove it I am sure you would not believe me my hubby did not even believe me when I told him over phone when i was at the event.

if you like getting your nails done this is something you will want to use on yourself or even invest in one for your home or salon etc I aint even joking this part comes with a warning.

please make sure you're sitting down to see this !!

Nail art pro is a printer machine that can put any design onto your nails.

ready made designs, photographs, drawings you name it if you want it on your nails the nail art pro printer can do it, at the event they showed me the machine and because the machine has its very own camera I was able to take a selfie and have it put onto a false nail.

Coffee for skin?

I also want to talk to you about an amazing coffee scrub that i tried whilst at the event.

you all know i adore coffee but this is not edible you can not eat or drink it.

But you can use it on skin which the lovely people at grounded scrub

All good things come to an end.

So that was pretty much my day i had to cut so much out of this post because #pbbeauty is a large event.

There was so much to look at even though I pretty much stayed all day I still didn't have time to see everything it is so big and does get busy early in the day so had a few breaks at press office.

I didn't manage to get many photos but hope the stuff I have included is helpful.

There was also little shows on the stages which i walked past and had a quick look.

I highly recommend going to professional beauty its a great experience.

There was so many lovely brands that attended fitting them all onto this post we would be here all year quite literally so apologies again if there is not much in this post for you.

but over the next few months gonna try find some more products to show you.
