Micro Cell Nail Repair

Microcell Nail Repair

Hey Boys and Girls, I am back again hope you did not miss me too much.
I am back today which a product that is nice and simple to use.
I cant stress enough how annoying it is when my nails break.

I can do anything from folding laundry to putting on daughters tights and my nails will break.
I do not really get manicures or anything with my busy life of been a mum housewife and blogger. Even when i get a bit of me time I don't get the whole manicure thing as i have tried false nails before and they broke in 5 mins of doing housework ie washing up mopping, cooking opening jars it seems if you are busy person who uses hands A lot then manicures really can be a pain.

Anyway I spoke to micro cell after attending the pro beauty event and they was willing to send me a small product to try to try help my nails be stronger and so I can fit 5 mins in to paint them at least so they look pretty without the need of needing a manicure at a salon which don't last.

What the Microcell website says about the product

Micro Cell Nail Repair
FOR BEAUTIFUL STRONG NAILS IN 2-3 WEEKS

NAIL REPAIR has been specially developed for soft and brittle nails. The unique effect is based on the recovery of protein molecules in the stratum corneum. Damaged nails are strengthened and protected against tearing and splintering of the nail tips. Even after a short application time the nail grows noticeably stronger and more resistant, without losing its flexibility

Application

Protect cuticles with grease or oil and apply one layer of NAIL REPAIR on two consecutive days. On the third treatment day remove all varnish layers with NAIL REMOVER REPAIR and repeat the treatment as on the first and second day.

My Experience

After opening the lid and looking at the polish as it glided on my nails with ease I thought to myself this is just like a clear nail polish but the only difference is this glided on better and felt nice on the nails.

So I used it on consecutive days noticed a big difference in my nails they felt a lot stronger than they were before as normally my nails would snap at the smallest thing as mentioned above.
Anyway once I was happy that I liked the product and it was easy to use I used it as a base coat.
Anyway using it as a base coat I had a little play around with my nail polishes as I own a few but hardly wear them that often due to been busy with things and been indecisive as always.
which explains the photos below of the dif style nails I have been doing using the microcell nail repair as a nice base coat which I must say is the best base coat I have used so far.

PhotosNail designs by me

Overall Verdict

10/10

I really like the microcell especially as the base coat for nails, you could even wear the microcell nail repair on its own if you wish, or if you like a little colour why not go for mysterious black, or passion red? or if you're a little funky like me why not multicoloured or splatter effect?
The options of colours patterns and designs are endless, express yourself and live a little.

Microcell is easy to use not only for me but for hubby he is pretty good at many things painting nails, makeup, photography building websites, sewing, baking, cooking and more he's pretty handy when it comes to needing a hand with things especially doing my hair.

He likes this product too and thinks its nice as he now doesn't have to hear me moaning about broken nails which is pretty much every week when I break a nail normally.

The price of the microcell repair  is abit expensive but i guess its worth while seeing as it lasts a while and prevents you from breaking your nails just think if you use this product you can grow your nails long and strong/
so won't need to pay out extra money on manicures to get acrylics done.

Where to buy microcell?

Bonsai Rose lamp

Rose Bonsai Tree Lamp Review

Hey guys and girls I have been at it again looking at the valuelights website.
I can not stay away from that site there are so many lovely lovely lights.
This time something really really caught my eye a bonsai rose light.
The reason it caught my eye is because my hubby loves bonsai trees.
Also me and hubby have watched how bonsai trees are made on tv show called how its made.

Anyway because its a light but still bonsai tree with roses its even more special.
Anyway wanted to share with you value lights have been kind enough to let me have this light to review because my emails have been going crazy from you all requesting me to review more lights from this brand, and so many of my friends was impressed by the lampshade thats looks like a pretty pink princess dress which I reviewed the other month.

Anyway heres what I think of my Led Rose Bonsai Light.

First impressions

Well i knew the light was coming and I was so excited, I told the hubby and he was like oh I love bonsai trees, he was pretty like shocked that there is a light in shape of a bonsai tree.
Anyway when it arrived shane passed me the parcel and we both opened it and his jaw dropped.
He slowly took it out the box and was like oh wow.

Anyway shane aka my hubby took the lamp to plug it in to check everything was working.
Yes I still have a weird thing about plugging new stuff in call me crazy if you like.
anyway once we had tested it worked hubby unplugged it and arranged the branches on the light to how we liked to have them which look pretty good, although I may have to rearrange them.

   Additional Information

The bonsai rose lamp is a beautiful size standing 450 mm tall.
The design is sturdy with the base been made of metal
The branches can be rearranged to suit your style.
The cable is a suitable length 3 meters long,

Great value at only £14.99 to buy from valuelights

Pro’s
Good value for money
Subtle Light Creates a relaxing glow
The branches are adjustable
Lights covered in beautiful white rose detail

Con’s
No switch.

Overall verdict

First of all the thing I ain't too impressed about is there not been a switch on the light meaning to turn of you have to unplug the light rather than just flipping a switch on the wire.

Also With there not being a switch it means it can be a hassle if your nearest plug socket is behind your chest of drawers or in a hard to reach place especially for those of you who find it hard to bend due to health problems that is my only concern with the product I am afraid.

Other than that I am suitably pleased with the light itself as it looks great.
I really love the relaxing feel it adds to the rooms in my flat when all the other lights are off and the lamp is on it gives it a relaxing romantic feel which is very welcomed after a long day.

I really adore the rose petal designs on the lights a very pretty and elegant touch.
If i could use a few words to describe this lamp,

I would say the following

Elegant
Modern
Luxury
Romantic

This lamp most certainly adds that special touch to pretty much any home.
To me I feel it adds a great loving warmth to my living room.
When all the lights are out and the lamp is on the whole room changes,
The room feels calm and cosy like the worlds stopped and I am free of stress.

They say home is where the heart is
So why not donate your old unloved lamp to a new home
Or you could donate your old lamp to a  charity store.

And update it with one you love?

I invited one of my best friends amy around to catch up on some hollyoaks and have a natter.
She Saw my lamp and feel in love with the rose bonsai and said that she wants one in her newly decorated modern room she said the lamp is the missing piece to her bedroom.

So what do you think of this lamp?
Is the rose bonsai your style of lamp?
What lamp from value lights would you choose?

Value lights sell many different style lamps, from floor to wall and much more.
So if you fancy adding some special touches to your home or buying a lamp for a loved one
why not take a look at their website and see what value lights have to offer.

Check out the value lights website here
You can Also find value lights on social media.

Ginseng Clayspray Review

Clayspray review

Hey guys and girls, whilst at pro beauty event the other month I came across clayspray.
Even though I had already heard of them before, but wasnt to sure what it was about.
Well anyway I have managed to get my hands on some ginseng clay mask from klm beauty.
As some of you who follow me on instagram will already know how scary I look wearing the clay, so if you haven't already seen the photos they come with a warning.
I look like a clay monster so if your scared of monsters please close your eyes.

The clay spray I am reviewing today is ….

WHITE CLAY AND GINSENG TREATMENT Rrp £30.00

Mature/fatigues skin.
Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and tightens the skin.
Contains energizing ginseng and minerals to give a revitalizing and brightening effect.
Its purifying action fights pollutants and daily stress to allow your skin to breathe.
Ideal to use as a flash lift prior to make up.
Clinically tested

First impressions!

The packaging looks appealing it is a very simple but effective design.
Once I opened the packaging I looked inside to see two sprays.
The thing that stood out to me was there was instructions on the sprays.
But to me they wasn't clear enough ie don't mention how to take of the clay.

Even though its obvious you wash the clay of with water.
It doesn't state that or the type of water ie warm or cold.
Also clay spray don't mention how long to leave it on for.

So thats my little pointer is maybe to have a little instruction card inside.
Even a waterproof  instruction sticker to stick on bathroom tiles
so you can always have your instructions to hand when using your clay spray product.

Putting all that aside lets get onto the more important part of how the product was.

What Happened When I Used Clayspray?

Once I applied the mist to my fresh bare face it felt cool refreshing and clean.
It kind of woke me up as well which was needed which is another good thing.
Dont you just love lovely light cool and refreshing mists

Anyway I then went onto applying the clay
I squirted some onto my hand then used my other hand to apply.

The clay felt abit weird at first but was kinda good to feel it for the first time.
when I applied it to my face it was very relaxing like therapeutic.
Its kinds like having your own spa in your own home.
Anyway once it was all applied it started to dry  quick too which is great.

Anyway I did take some photos whilst it was drying to help the time pass and because I thought how cool it would be to do some weird wacky face pulling after all its not every day I get to apply luxurious clay to my face.

When it was drying it did feel a bit stiff but thats how its meant to feel.
I loved the fact it feels like this makes me feel like i have nice tight skin.
kinda like botox without the price tag i guess never had botox though but would imagine it would feel similar in the sense you can't move face around to much when its on.

Because the product wasn't clear on how long to leave it on for even though it dried quickly,
I left it on for over an hour just to be sure and because I loved the feel of it on my face.
Anyway after sitting for an hour with it on my face whilst taking selfies and annoying hubby in his office by freaking him out with my weird face pulling I decided to go wash it off.

I went to the bathroom and got a sponge and doused it in lukewarm-hot water and gently wiped away the clay from my face.

After the clay was away from my face I patted my face dry with a towel.
I must say straight away I felt refreshed and amazing, and the skin on my face felt tighter too.
I hope i am not going crazy but thats what it feels to me my skin also feels really soft as well.

check before and after pics

before and after
no make up

Overall Verdict
Score 9/10

The only thing I was disappointed with is that clay sprays instructions was not clear enough.
The instructions on how to use the product ie how long to leave it on, and how to wash off ie with warm water or cold or with a toner etc was missing from the box.

However there is instructions on the website which advise I have included the instructions on how to use and apply clay spray which I took from clay sprays website.

Other than what i have mentioned i can not fault the product it feels great on the skin.
does not irritate my skin and I have sensitive dry skin normally but after using this my skin feels so smooth and great I feel like an onion thats been peeled with new skin showing.

Not only does my skin feel great I feel great too putting on the mask is very therapeutic and even sitting with it on feels pretty cool and defo great for weird and wacky selfies.

The price for me is mid range I would say which could be seen as expensive if you are a first time buyer abit skeptical of a product.

But once you try the product I would say if you like it as much as I do it be well worth paying because to be honest your pay even more than this if you was to go to a spa.

Anyway I think thats everything hope you enjoyed reading.
I have listed some important stuff below.

HOW TO USE CLAYSPRAY?

How To Apply Clayspray

Cleanse the skin with a suitable cleanser.
Gently dry and follow with a fine spray of Clayspray H2O.
Shake the Clayspray mineral treatment masque before use.
Remove lid then unplug cap from nozzle
Press firmly on the dispensing pump
Apply Clayspray Mineral Treatment Masque to the fingertips.
Apply the clay to the area to be treated.
If massaging with Clayspray, previously wet your hands with warm water.
Leave Clayspray Mineral Treatment Masque to work as indicated in the professional protocols.

How To Remove The Clay

Spray Clayspray H2O over the masque to re-emulsify Clayspray.
Tap with a wet sponge or flannel.
Rinse the sponge or flannel with tepid water
Remove the product thoroughly but gently.
Tap dry the skin with a soft towel.
Tone with Clay spray H2O and continue with usual skin care routine.
